The Correctional Facilities Committee "concern is the ‘alcoholic behind-the-walls’, whether in a long- or short-term institution". This committee schedules prison commitments and provides information and literature to prisons and other institutions.
Volunteers bring A.A. meetings to the prisons and give alcoholics an introduction to AA on the "outside."
See our Service Opportunities page.
Your group can help by taking a commitment into an institution and by donating literature. Here's a suggested sign for a box or container that can be displayed at your Meeting.
Please contribute toward the purchase of conference approved literature for the incarcerated alcoholic so they can be in touch with our message of recovery 168 hours of the week.
Contributions of conference approved literature are also welcome!
Please see your Correctional Facilities Committee member or Intergroup Rep for instructions.
All proceeds will go to incarcerated A.A. members via the:Central Jersey Intergroup Correctional Facilities Committee
