Central Jersey Intergoup’s By-Laws

Attached are the proposed revisions to the Central Jersey Intergroup’s By-Laws. Six of our Trustees have spent over a year on this process. In doing so, the Trustees reviewed the By-Laws of many other Intergroups and Areas of Alcoholics Anonymous across the country. They met several times each month during the last year to discuss the existing By-Laws of Central Jersey Intergroup and our Intergroup’s needs, and the results are the attached proposed revisions.

Intergroup representatives will be asked to take this information back to their homegroups and then vote for their homegroup on either accepting or not accepting these proposed By-Laws. The vote will be either to accept or not accept the attached revisions as a package. If the proposed By-Laws are accepted, they will be effective immediately. If they are no accepted, the Trustees will discuss further.
